Hayes is based in the national industrial real estate investor, developer and management firm’s corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, IL.
“Tanner’s highly adept in underwriting and transactional oversight for real estate and power purchase agreements, and he has deep knowledge of technologies ranging from photovoltaic solar to battery storage, energy efficiency, and EV charging,” said Chris Papa, CenterPoint’s Chief Financial Officer. “We’re very happy he’s joined our team to help us reach our ambitious ESG goals,” Papa finished.
Hayes most recently worked for the global industrial real estate firm Prologis, focusing on the intersection of renewable energy, clean tech, mobility, and sustainable building design and construction. He also worked for Regency Centers, a prominent national shopping center owner, on electric vehicle charging leases and solar development, and coordinated closely with the firms’ operations & investment teams.

Hayes graduated from the University of Colorado with bachelor’s degrees in economics and environmental policy & planning. His coursework focused on renewable energy economics, markets, technology and policy.
