The prime 1,034,026-square-foot building is located at 6800 Valley View Street in Buena Park, California.
The property is located at the epicenter of Southern California’s logistics hub, with close proximity to a skilled workforce, high e-commerce demand from major population hubs in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and excellent transportation options near Interstate 5, 91 and 605 freeways, three airports, public transit and the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Unis is also a tenant at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center in Joliet, Illinois. Founded in 1989, Unis has grown into a key, national third-party logistics provider that has expanded into all major U.S. markets. The company is known for its superior technology, smart supply chains and fast execution.
“We are excited to expand our relationship with Unis. It made sense for them to lease SCLC due to its prime location and operationally-advantaged logistic features,” said Bob Andrews, CenterPoint Senior Vice President of Asset Management.
“These two CenterPoint locations are key to Unis’ growth in servicing our growing retail and e-commerce clients. The size and location, along with Unis’ superior technology, gives us a leg-up against the competition. These two buildings bring Unis’ North American footprint to over 10 million feet of fulfillment space,” said Scott Simanek, CCO at Unis.
CenterPoint has completed an extensive repositioning and modernization of all building systems to maximize environmental, economic and operational advantages. A few of the many improvements, include:

“We are very pleased to attract a tenant that can take advantage of all the new building attributes we built into the reposition. This building is now one of the premier in-fill logistics assets in the LA Basin,” said Ryan Dunlap, CenterPoint Senior Vice President of Investments.
The SCLC sits on 45 acres and contains 73,000 square-feet of office space. There are 597 car parking spaces, 265 trailer spots, as well as 180 dock positions and two drive-in doors.
The facility is a rare one-million-square-foot, single-tenant warehouse distribution space straddling the Los Angeles and Orange County border. The property is less than a quarter mile from California State Route 91, two miles from Interstate 5, 19 miles from the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach and 26 miles from Los Angeles International Airport.
