Charleston
Charleston Industrial Real Estate Market Overview
Located between two large urban centers and close to advanced port infrastructure, Charleston is a prime market for manufacturers and distributors that serve East Coast and international audiences. The Port of Charleston is a growing operation and a leader among Southeastern U.S. ports based on its investment in port infrastructure projects and preparation for Post-Panamax traffic. With access to six major interstates, two national rail carriers and five primary airports, the Port of Charleston and surrounding region offers the resources to meet growing industrial real estate and supply chain needs. Consequently, major retail and automotive brands are investing in the market.
