Diversity & Inclusion Commitment Statement

    • CenterPoint believes that a diverse and inclusive environment enhances our ability to identify and retain extraordinary talent who can continuously reimagine what’s possible and deliver ingenious solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. Our goal is to create an environment where individual thoughts and opinions are celebrated and encouraged. We believe diversity drives innovation and creativity.
    • We stand in solidarity against racism and advocate for diversity and inclusion in the real estate sector. We define diversity broadly to include race, ethnicity, religion, age, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, and veteran status.
    • We are committed to attracting, developing, and promoting a workforce that reflects the diverse communities we serve. Further, we strive to create an environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work.

    Building Local Communities Up

Community outreach and engagement is our way of developing a working relationship between public bodies (such as local councils) and community groups. Through our community engagement activities, we can ensure that we understand and can act on the needs or issues of community experiences and ensure positive results.

Our dedication to local communities doesn’t stop with the way we do business. We also love giving back in other ways—by donating our time, talents and resources. To date, our efforts have benefitted more than 100 charitable organizations nationwide.

As part of our COVID-19 response, the business continuity team incorporated measures across our operations to ensure the health and safety of our people, contractors, customers and the communities in which we work. CenterPoint incorporated policies and procedures in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Business continuity teams, including both the Crisis Management Team and the Emergency Response Team, meet frequently to ensure that health and safety measures are monitored closely and to provide ongoing frequent communication to our employees , customers and partners.

The business implemented policies and procedures related to remote work arrangements, travel restrictions and guidance, and health check requirements. In our local offices, the business implemented safety distance measures, increased cleaning frequency, added hand sanitizers, key hygiene procedures and face mask requirements.

As part of the focus on our employees, the business launched a new virtual wellness series, “Be Well & Thrive” centered around physical, social, mental and financial health.

We continue to reimagine ways to support and provide helpful resources to our employees during this unprecedented time.
