OAK BROOK, IL – CenterPoint Properties is proud to announce the acquisition of a fully leased and improved trailer/container storage facility inclusive of three office and maintenance buildings, totaling 15,000 square feet on 9.92 acres. The property is located at 3513 142nd Avenue, Sumner, Washington. Scott Price and Kermit Jorgensen of NWC executed the deal on behalf of CenterPoint.

“In a market with limited land options, the strategic acquisition of this container storage facility provides local tenants unprecedented access to the Port of Tacoma, Port of Seattle and the greater North Western United States,” remarked Chad Vande Zande, Senior Vice President, Investments of CenterPoint Properties.

Located in the heart of Kent Valley, the property is fully leased to three tenants. The strategic location of the property allows for excellent access to and from the Port of Tacoma and Port of Seattle.

CenterPoint’s focus on national expansion is accelerated with the acquisition of the Sumner trailer storage facility. Partnering with the current tenants, CenterPoint is committed to meeting the requirements, such as paving, lighting and increasing security, of enhanced transportation efficiencies for a thriving industrial market.
