The U.S. Department of Agriculture signed a 15-year lease with CenterPoint Properties, noted an article in the Kansas City Business Journal. The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service will move operations to a 300,000 SF building at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center – Kansas City, located near Botts Road and U.S. Highway 150. The USDA will lease 104,184 SF of the building, which is the inaugural structure in the intermodal park.
