CenterPoint Signs Lease with Axis Near O’Hare Airport

OAK BROOK, IL – CenterPoint Properties is proud to announce a five-year lease with Axis Warehouse Management for a 174,178-square-foot space at 500 Country Club Drive in Bensenville, Illinois. This is one of the few properties near O’Hare International Airport featuring direct rail access to the building.

Axis, a third-party logistics company, now occupies more than 575,000 square feet of warehouse space in northwest suburban Chicago. The company moved into the Country Club Drive space on October 1, 2019. Axis will use rail siding near the building to bring containers to the area’s railways.

“We’re excited to partner with Axis as they expand their footprint and continue to invest in Chicago,” said Danielle Radtke, CenterPoint Senior Vice President of Asset Management.

CenterPoint acquired the building in December 2002. Built in 1974, the building sits on 12.14 acres of land. Additional building features include 22-foot clear height ceilings, 31 exterior docks and two drive-in doors. The space has parking for 19 trailers and 48 cars and 6,300 square feet of office space. This space comprises more than one-half of the 300,960-square-foot building.
