OAK BROOK, IL – CenterPoint is pleased to announce it has leased 8.41 acres in the Gratigny Industrial Park at 3705 NW 123rd Street in Opa-Locka, FL, to telecommunications and power delivery contractor Concurrent Group, LLC.
The expansive yard in the prime Miami-Dade County submarket can accommodate nearly 200 trailers. The site is also perfectly suited to meet the increasing outdoor storage and parking demands of the market. It’s located minutes from the I-75 and I-95 highways, 13 miles from Port of Miami and 10 miles from Miami International Airport.
“This asset appeals to the strong tenant demand in an area where supply for outside storage is very limited,” said CenterPoint Senior Vice President of Development Ronel Borner. “This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our portfolio in Miami-Dade County and serves to enhance the value of our existing investments in the area long-term,” continued Borner.
“With industrial space in Miami being a shrinking commodity, we consider ourselves fortunate to have found this property that will not only suit our immediate needs but our forecasted growth,” said Natacha M. Bastian, Chief Executive Officer of Concurrent Group.
CenterPoint has invested $610 million in its South Florida portfolio, which now totals 4.43 million square feet of industrial space and 310 acres in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
Edward Easton of The Easton Group represented Concurrent Group, and Brian Smith at JLL and Bob Comunale of Industrial Group Realty represented CenterPoint.
