OAK BROOK, IL – CenterPoint Properties is pleased to announce a 79,206 square foot build-to-suit expansion for BWAY Corporation at 4400 W 35th Place in Chicago, Illinois. This expansion will bring the facility to 155,440 total square feet. Ken Ashley and Sally Macoicz of Cushman & Wakefield represented BWAY in the transaction.
BWAY is a leading North American supplier of general line rigid containers with 24 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States and Canada serving industry-leading customers on a national basis. Its Chicago warehouse is located on 8.5 acres with immediacy to I-55 and minutes from BNSF Corwith and Cicero Yards. The property is part of BWAY’s campus and connects to its 247,420 SF production facility at 3200 Kilbourn Avenue by conveyer belt.

The Class-A expansion will include precast, rebuilt offices, separation of auto and truck parking and improved queuing and entrance. Completed facility features will include reinforced floor slabs, 27’ clear height, 30 exterior docks, 52 car parking spaces and 33 trailer-parking stalls.
